Spring Greeting

Flowers don’t stop blooming just because you aren’t there to see them. This is what greeted me when I came home.

  1. Wow, what a beautiful site! What kind of tree is that one with all of the white blossoms?

  2. In the first picture, to the left, is that a branch with purple flowers growing out from it, just on top of the ground? I love yards like yours, with no specific structure. You sure have a ‘green thumb’!

  3. Lovely. You must live in a warm-ish zone… ?6

I especially love the Perils cat standing in the window in photo #6! Beautiful yard as well….I just came home after a lengthy vacation to lots of snow still in the yard but gardens around the house foundation putting up tulips, daffs, iris and other hardy things that spring straight up from snow cover. Ways to go before we get to your level but it’s happening fast. Great job with your landscaping and thanks for sharing.

  5. Thanks for replying, you are lucky to live in a warm zone. I live in north central Saskatchewan, lucky to be zone 2b, last night we got more snow, more falling right now. I used to start tons of seeds, but now our weather is so strange, just start a few plants now. My Morning Glories sprouted so fast, so will be gently re-potting them this week. Thanks for showing your garden, make sure to post more as the season goes on.

  6. Very pretty – – is it aromatic as well? Love the ‘natural’ Columbine in the last picture. I have a bed of those whose seeds came from a friend’s wooded home outside of Portland, OR. Mine aren’t anywhere close to yours. Maybe Mother’s Day . . . .

  7. THANK YOU for the photos… Your flowers are just lovely…

  8. Beautiful! I’m jealous…in a good way.
